Artistic work is deeply rooted in the genetic code of the local people, as evidenced by the richness of customs, songs and dances from which the now famous Podravina and Podravlje Music Festival has stemmed. Pitomača has been the cradle of the emergence of tamburitza instruments in the workshop of Kos family since the mid-20th century.
